Quick Start Guide

Get up and running with Jujukraft in just 5 minutes.

Prerequisites

• A modern web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• An email address for account creation

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Visit https://jujukraft.com
2. Click “Create an account” at the bottom of the sign-in page
3. Choose to sign up with Google or email address
4. If using email, enter your email address and create a password
5. Verify your email address if required

Step 2: Create Your First Project

1. Once logged in, click “Create New Project”
2. Enter a title for your script (e.g., “My First Screenplay”)
3. Click “Create Project”

Step 3: Explore the Interface

Your new project opens with two main tabs plus sharing:

📋 Plot tab (Beat Board)

• Create and organize story beats
• Structure your story into acts
• Plan character arcs

✍️ Script tab (Script Editor)

• Write your screenplay with auto-formatting
• Use element detection for scenes, characters, and dialogue
• Auto-save ensures you never lose your work

📤 Share

• Use the Share button to export to PDF, share publicly, or manage access.

Step 4: Write Your First Scene

1. Switch to the Script tab
2. Start typing - the editor will automatically detect elements
3. Use keyboard shortcuts for faster writing:
   • Cmd+1 / Ctrl+1 - Scene heading
   • Cmd+2 / Ctrl+2 - Action
   • Cmd+3 / Ctrl+3 - Character
   • Cmd+4 / Ctrl+4 - Parenthetical
   • Cmd+5 / Ctrl+5 - Dialogue
   • Cmd+6 / Ctrl+6 - Transition
   • Cmd+7 / Ctrl+7 - General

Step 5: Plot Your Story

1. Switch to the Plot tab
2. Create your first beat by clicking “Add Beat”
3. Organize beats into acts
4. Link beats to your script scenes
